Gangster Kala Jathedi To Marry ‘Madam Minz’ In Presence Of Over 250 Delhi Police Officers, Drones & Metal Detectors

The wedding of gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi with ‘history-sheeter’ Anuradha Choudhary alias ‘Madam Minz’, set to take place in the national capital on Tuesday, has become the talk of the town.

Currently lodged in Tihar Jail, a Delhi court has granted Sandeep the time of 10 am to 4 pm for his marriage.

Ahead of gangster’s wedding in Dwarka Sector-3’s Santosh Banquet, Delhi has turned into a fortress with heavy security deployment done to prevent any gang wars or possibility of Kala Jathedi escaping custody, police said.

Teams from the Delhi Police Special Cell, Special Staff and Crime Branch, have all been deployed ahead of the wedding. Reportedly, the guests will be given barcode bands before entering the venue. Additionally, no vehicle will be allowed without an entry pass to park near the banquet, a police official said.

Sandeep’s lawyer had booked the Banquet — located seven kilometers away from Tihar Jail — for Rs 51,000.

SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS MADE IN DELHI

Kala Jathedi and Madam Minz’s wedding will take place amid the deployment of over 250 policemen and Special Weapons and Techniques (SWAT) commandoes carrying hi-tech weaponry.

A Delhi Police official noted that two doorframe metal detectors have been set up at the entry point of the venue and every single attendee at the wedding will have to pass through it.

To keep an eye on each and every single person entering and exiting the banquet, all the guests will be given a barcode band ahead of their entry in the venue. “No vehicle without the valid entry pass will be allowed to the parking near the banquet,” the official added.

Additionally, over half a dozen CCTV cameras and drones will be in play to monitor the activities during the wedding.

Meanwhile another officer said that Sandeep’s family has shared with them a list of 150 guests, adding that the waiter and workers at the event will be provided with ID cards for identification checks.

Citing the risks of untoward shootout, gang wars or any such incident, a senior Delhi police personnel said, “We don’t want to take any chance this time. Therefore an adequate deployment of police personnel will be put in place, from Tihar to the wedding venue in Dwarka.”
