This 23.8-inch touchscreen device packs powerful specs into a super portable 4.1 kg body. The secret sauce is the built-in handle and auto-deploying kickstand legs that let you pick it up and set it down anywhere without fussing with cords. A battery even keeps it powered up as you move between rooms.
Going by the product images, the PC looks something like an overly slender briefcase when folded up. There’s also a sleeve where you can stuff the bundled keyboard, which by the way also features a touchpad.
Under the hood, you’ll find 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processors and integrated graphics that can handle home office work, e-learning, and streaming movies. The QHD screen resolution brings extra clarity whether you’re working on a document or watching your favourite Netflix show. Plus the IMAX Enhanced spec takes that visual immersion even further when it’s movie time.
Of course, a machine built for video calls needs a solid camera. The Envy Move has a 5MP HP Wide Vision cam with an adjustable field of view, so you stay nicely framed on group calls. And physical camera shutters give you privacy when you aren’t conferencing.
The Envy Move also plays nice with your phone via Intel Unison, letting you tap into notifications, messages, and more. The sound quality keeps up too, with audio technology from Bang & Olufsen that adapts volume levels based on your location.
With great portability comes…moving around a lot. HP built in some clever sensing tech to make life easier. The screen auto-adjusts brightness for your environment and can even blur itself if someone gets too close to peek over your shoulder. Walk away and the display automatically locks.
On the sustainability front, over half the machine is made from post-consumer recycled plastic. It’s both EPEAT Gold and Energy Star certified.
