The esteemed American morning show recently announced that Jungkook will kick off their prestigious annual concert series next week. Remarkably, he will be the first ever K-pop solo artist to grace the event, following in the footsteps of his group BTS (who performed at the “Good Morning America” Summer Concert Series in 2019 and 2021) and Aespa (who performed at the event last year).
In addition to Jungkook’s performance, other notable artists such as Fitz and the Tantrums, Carly Rae Jepsen, Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Hozier, Tim McGraw, and Sam Hunt are scheduled to take the stage throughout the concert series.
This year’s lineup, presented by sponsors Revlon Hair Tools and Hot Tools, showcases a star-studded lineup of chart-topping artists who will deliver electrifying live performances from New York City’s Central Park or the “GMA” studio in the heart of Times Square.
Jungkook’s solo debut single, which was confirmed by Bighit on June 30, is set to release on July 14, 2023, at 1 PM KST and 12 AM ET. The first teaser image suggests that the song will be available in India at 9:30 AM.
