Karsima Kapoor walked for couturier Manish Malhotra at The New Order of Style fashion show to celebrate the launch of Jio World Plaza.
Is it a suit? Is it a saree? Well, that’s a suit saree. Karisma Kapoor turned heads when she dazzled on the runway for close friend and couturier Manish Malhotra.
The showcase which was part of the fashion extravaganza, The New Order of Style to celebrate the launch of Jio World Plaza, saw Manish set the runway on fire with his red hot silhouettes.
Karisma Kapoor was seen exuding glamour and grace in a shimmery red suit saree, a new style introduced in Manish’s collection. Perfect for the festive and wedding season, the new-age saree is the perfect look for brides to be. The flared vibrant pants and bralette is combined with a sheer sparkling pallu. Completing this glamorous style is the bright red suit, adding the ‘who is the boss’ vibe to Karisma’s overall look.
Redefining bridal wear with this collection, every opulent design celebrated Manish’s creative vision and love for intricate detailing. Be it sequins, beads or his signature embroidery style, the collection has set the tone for the wedding season. The rich colour palette of reds and pinks married to luxurious fabrics including velvet, exuded royalty on the runway.
Manish Malhotra’s showcase also featured Janhvi Kapoor, who opened the show dressed in a sparkling co-ord set. Karan Johar brought back his love for colors on the runway in a maroon-embroidered velvet Indian silhouette. Nora Fatehi too looked ravishing in a red saree paired with a long embellished cape. Also seen walking like a true star on the runway was model Sakshi Sindwani looking stunning in a pink and red striped saree with an embellished blouse featuring dramatic cape style sleeves.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was also dressed in a coordinated gold set designed by Manish, was seated next to Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. Also spotted at the event were an array of celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Pooja Hegde, Diana Penty, Khushi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Shehnaaz Gill, Anaita Shroff Adajania, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Athiya Shetty, Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene among others.
