In Rune Factory 3 Special, players assume the role of Micah, a young man who can transform into a golden sheep-like creature called a wooly. After being rescued by a young woman in the town of Sharance, Micah wakes up with no memory of his past and becomes involved in an ongoing conflict between humans and monsters. To restore peace, Micah must bridge the gaps between the races and uncover a shocking secret of his own. The game offers new features, including Newlywed Mode, which provides standalone adventures after marrying one of the 11 eligible bachelorettes, as well as a challenging “Hell” difficulty level for experienced players. With improved graphics and redesigned 3D character models, Rune Factory 3 provides an unforgettable story for both new visitors and returning players.
Pre-orders are now available for both the standard and Digital Deluxe editions of the game on the Nintendo Switch system. The standard edition is priced at €39.99/£34.99, while the Digital Deluxe edition, priced at €49.99/£44.99, includes an exclusive “Swimsuit Mode” that unlocks summer bathing outfits for Micah and all marriage candidates throughout the year. Pre-ordering before the release date also grants access to Ryker’s outfit from Rune Factory 5 for use with Micah.
