Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 15 series launch is still a few months away, but the rumour mill is already buzzing with news about the upcoming lineup. One of the most popular leaksters, @UniverseIce, has recently shared some intriguing information, including the front glass panel and screen protectors of the iPhone 15 series.
The leaked images suggest that the Dynamic Island feature, currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models, may also be included in the non-Pro models. Dynamic Island replaces the notch with an elongated hole and displays notifications, battery status, and other information. In addition, the leaked images also hint at thinner bezels for the iPhone 15 series, indicating a sleeker design compared to its predecessors. While the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models may feature a flat display, the Pro variants will come with rounded edges.
The Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Pro are expected to come with a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max may sport a larger 6.7-inch screen.
Along with the size changes, the iPhone 15 lineup is also rumored to feature a USB Type-C charging port, a larger camera bump, and a dedicated mute button. Additionally, Apple is expected to introduce new color options for the 2023 iPhone series, including pink, green, and light yellow for the standard models, and a new dark red/deep blue color for the Pro variants.
Dan Ives, an analyst at Wedbush Securities, recently shared his insights with the Daily Mail, stating that the iPhone 15 will be a revolutionary device, especially for those who haven’t upgraded their iPhones in the past four years. Ives believes that the iPhone 15 could mark Apple’s entry into the realm of artificial intelligence (AI). While the iPhone’s hardware capabilities are already impressive, advancements in software, particularly in AI, have the potential to overcome certain physical limitations.
Ives specifically mentions that Apple plans to leverage AI within the Health app on the iPhone 15. By utilizing the vast amount of user-collected data, including heart rate, breathing patterns, mood, activity levels, and sleep patterns, AI could transform the Health app and offer personalized insights and recommendations.
