Leaked Online: Live Images of Google Pixel 8 Pro Revealed with Intriguing Details

Real life images of the highly anticipated Google Pixel 8 Pro have surfaced online. These images have been shared by a user on Reddit, according to a report by Droid Life. The leaked images showcase both the front and back of the upcoming device.

The front image reveals the fastboot screen with the codename ‘husky’ displayed, along with impressive specifications such as 12GB of Samsung LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage. The device’s bootloader also mentions ‘ripcurrent’.

On the flip side, the images showcase numerous stickers that indicate that this is a test device meant for “TEST/EVALUATION ONLY,” emphasizing that it hasn’t received authorization from the FCC for sale or lease. It is solely for internal testing and development purposes.

The Google Tensor G2, which was codenamed ‘cloudripper’ and also referred to as GS201, is rumored to power both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. As per the report, the Tensor G3, codenamed ‘zuma,’ is mentioned on the back of this test device.

The back of the test device displays a horizontally aligned triple camera setup. The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5x telephoto lens.

According to a report by Android Authority, the Pixel 8 series may come equipped with the Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor, an upgrade from the ISOCELL GN1. The GN2 sensor is larger and has the capability to capture 35% more light. Additionally, it supports 8K/30fps video capture.

Furthermore, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to offer an improved time-of-flight (ToF) feature. The device is said to feature a new 8×8 ToF VL53L8 sensor, which should enhance the autofocus capabilities.

The leaked image also reveals the presence of a temperature sensor on the Pixel 8 Pro. According to a report by 91 Mobiles, this dedicated thermometer sensor will be capable of measuring both human and object temperatures. It is speculated that this sensor will be exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro and may not be available on the cheaper Pixel 8 model.
