Leaked Specifications of iQoo Z8 Hint at MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and 120W Fast Charging

Although the Chinese smartphone company has not yet announced the launch date, leaked specifications of the Z-series handset have surfaced online. The iQoo Z8 is expected to be a flagship device featuring an LCD panel with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. It is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The iQoo Z8 is believed to be the successor to the iQoo Z7 5G, which was released in India in March.

A tipster named Digital Chat Station shared the specifications of the iQoo Z8 on Weibo. According to the tipster, the upcoming flagship smartphone will sport an LCD panel and a dual-cell battery configuration with a total capacity of 5,000mAh. The battery is also expected to support fast charging at 120W.

Another tipster named Panda is Bald claimed that the iQoo Z8 will feature a 144Hz LCD display. It is rumored to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage.

The iQoo Z8 is expected to succeed the iQoo Z7 5G, which was released in India with a starting price of Rs. 18,999. The iQoo Z7 5G features a 6.38-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The handset includes a dual rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor housed in a hole-punch cutout on the display. The iQoo Z7 5G also offers 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and a 4,500mAh Li-ion battery with 44W Flash Charge support.
