Opinion poll conducted by ABP-CVoter projects a commanding lead for the NDA, estimating a vote share of 45.9 per cent and approximately 366 seats in the Lok Sabha. Conversely, the INDIA bloc, which includes the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), is expected to secure a 39 per cent vote share and 156 seats.
These projections indicate a notable shift in voting patterns since the 2019 Lok Sabha results, with the BJP witnessing a positive swing of 3.08 per cent, and the INDIA bloc experiencing a rise of 2.5 per cent.
The last Lok Sabha polls were announced on March 10 and conducted in seven phases beginning April 11, with vote counting taking place on May 23. In 2014, the EC had also announced the poll schedule a day in advance, with nearly 97 crore eligible voters across over 12 lakh polling stations.
