Soybean cutlets are a snack recipe which is preferred by people of all ages. It is easy to make and only requires a handful of ingredients. It is also served as an appetiser at a party. It is quick to make and doesn’t take much time. Now, a lot of ready-made soya cutlets are also available in the market which only need to be fried in the oil before serving. It can be taken as lunch too. It is high in proteins and they are a must-have for the kids. If you are a spicy lover then you can add more veggies to the recipe. You can add garlic to increase the savoury texture of the soybean cutlets. Let us take a look at the recipe for the soybean cutlets.

Before preparation, you need to collect some necessary ingredients for the recipe which include soya cups, bread crumbs, black pepper powder, potatoes, turmeric powder, onion, green chillies, oil, ginger paste, garlic paste and coriander leaves. You can add salt as per your taste and requirement.

Firstly, you must take a bowl with soya in it and grind it to make its powder. On the other hand, boil the potatoes. Now after it becomes moist, take it out and peel it. Mash the boiled potatoes and mix them with soya in the bowl. Now add onion and bread crumbs to this bowl and mix. Now you need to add the spices. You must add ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, onion, salt and mix well. Make sure the mixture is thick and dry enough to get into the shape of a cutlet.

Now apply oil on your palms and take a little mixture from the bowl. Now with the help of both hands, make it round and then give it the shape of a cutlet. Now repeat this process for all the mixture which is present in the bowl. Put oil in the pan and heat it well. Put 3-4 cutlets in it and deep fry them. Try to turn evenly from both sides, so that one side does not burn too much. After it becomes golden brown and crispy, take it out on a plate. You can absorb the oil by placing tissue paper on the plate to absorb extra oil.
