In an exciting announcement at the State of Play event, PlayStation has revealed the lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus members in March 2023. These games will be available to members of PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium plans, starting from March 7. The three titles included are the multiplayer shooter Battlefield 2042, the hack-and-slash-styled Minecraft Dungeons, and the anime-themed Souls-like, Code Vein. You can add these games to your PS4 and PS5 library until April 3. Please note that you need to maintain an active PS Plus subscription to continue playing these games for free.
But that’s not all! PlayStation has also confirmed that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, will be added to PS Plus later in March. This addition is part of PlayStation’s ‘Game Catalogue’ initiative and is exclusively available to higher-tier PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members. This allows them to enjoy four additional games, including Tango Gameworks’ supernatural spirit-hunting game Ghostwire: Tokyo, Ubisoft’s Greek mythology-inspired adventure title Immortals: Fenyx Rising, the co-op tactical shooter Rainbow Six Extraction, and Tchia.
Tchia, an indie open-world title set in a tropical backdrop, will be released on March 21 for PS4 and PS5. It will be available for free to players subscribed to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe.

PS Plus March 2023: Battlefield 2042
As the latest entry in EA’s long-running shooter franchise, Battlefield 2042 initially faced criticism for lacking a single-player campaign and for its numerous glitches and rendering issues. However, since its launch, significant improvements have been made. The game now features map reworks, new specialists, and a Portal mode that allows players to mix and match elements from previous Battlefield games. PS Plus March 2023: Minecraft Dungeons
Minecraft Dungeons offers a fast-paced dungeon-crawling experience set in the beloved Minecraft universe. Code Vein combines the intense difficulty of FromSoftware’s Dark Souls series with an anime-inspired post-apocalyptic world. In this game, players assume the role of a Revenant, a corpse brought back to life with vampire-like abilities. The game features punishing battles, a deep upgrade system, and the option for online co-op or an AI partner. This unique blend creates a thrilling and challenging gameplay experience. Code Vein is playable on PS4.
Earlier this month, PlayStation added the highly acclaimed Horizon Forbidden West to its PS Plus Game Catalogue. This incredible collection of games is exclusively available to Extra and Deluxe tier subscribers. Other recent additions to the catalogue include Borderlands 3, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Tekken 7, and more. Additionally, PS Plus Deluxe/Premium subscribers can enjoy a three-hour free trial of God of War Ragnarök.
