Tata is on a roll with the Altroz, finally launching the much-awaited Racer edition. The Altroz Racer comes with the Nexon engine and also comes with a plethora of new features. However, now these features are not exclusive to the racer edition as Tata has introduced some of them in the normal Altroz. In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2024 Tata Altroz.

What’s new?
Tata has introduced two new variants on the Altroz lineup – XZ Lux and XZ+S Lux. Along with this, Tata has also updated the top-spec XZ+ OS variant. In the XZ Lux variant, tata has added new features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The XZ+ S Lux gets 6 airbags over the XZ Lux variant. The XZ+ OS variant gets new additions like connected car technology and air purifier along with the features offered XZ+ S Lux.
2024 Tata Altroz – Specifications
The Altroz comes with a plethora of engine options that include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. We also have a 1.5-litre diesel engine capable of producing 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. With the introduction of the new 1.2-litre turbo petrol on the Altroz Racer, Tata has discontinued the i-turbo variants of the Altroz.

Facelift
Tata is also working on bringing a facelifted model of the Altroz. We have seen Tata doing something similar with the Harrier and Safari. On both these SUVs, Tata introduced the red dark models with new features and then also brought in comprehensive updates with a facelift. On the Altroz facelift, we could see exterior and interior design changes. In the facelift, Tata could also make 6-airbags standard further increasing the safety quotient of the Altroz.
