In the videos and images that surfaced on social, a black smoke could be seen billowing out from the area. As per Noida Police, the fire broke out at a garbage pile located in Sector 34 and is stated as reason of fire. With time, the intensity of the fire got increased. Fire tenders were on the spot to control the flames.

Netizens on social media also claimed that garbage present at incident site was burnt, in order to clear up the mess.
“Seems a failure of garbage pick up agencies not being able to lift the garbage & have it piled and as routine to light fire to clear up this mess. AQI…?? What’s that …!! @CeoNoida sir pls control such incidents,” a user wrote on X.
Earlier this month, another fire incident was reported in Noida. Fire incident was reported on March 2nd, 2024, in an apartment on the second floor of Block C, 16th Avenue, Gaur City 2, Greater Noida West. The incident occurred between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.
