Minecraft Legends’ Biggest Update To Date Finally Lets You Pet Animals

Mojang’s latest update for Minecraft Legends is their most significant one yet, boasting a range of improvements and new features that elevate the PvP experience. One exciting addition is the ability to pet animals, a feature previously absent. These adorable creatures now serve a purpose beyond aesthetics, as each animal has a unique response to being shown affection. To fully enjoy this update, it is important to have a javascript enabled browser.

In terms of multiplayer communication, a new roles system has been introduced. Players can now utilize markers to effectively communicate with their team, using commands such as Attack, Defend, Gather, and Default. Furthermore, players can request specific structures to be built, and other players can agree, disagree, or suggest alternative options. Prior to starting a game, players can assign themselves specific roles, choosing from options such as Builder, Explorer, Fighter, Piglin Hunter, and Flexible.

The update also brings an experimental mode to both campaign and versus gameplay. This allows players to modify various aspects of the game world, including resources, gravity, speed, and piglins. Mojang plans to release additional custom settings in future updates, providing players with even more freedom to tailor their gameplay experience.

A new feature called “Auto Lure” eliminates the need to command mobs to follow you manually. Now, mobs will automatically follow you as soon as they spawn. Additionally, structure bars have been added to Banner Views and specific battle scenarios, such as when players hit a piglin structure with their sword. The game’s prologue has also received updates to improve performance, and players can now fast-travel to any village after defeating the initial group of piglins in the prologue.

Other notable changes include improvements to creeper behavior, resource visibility, player empowerment, mob pathfinding, Banner View, PvP rewards, and the game’s user interface and heads-up display. For a comprehensive list of all the changes, refer to the full patch notes provided in the link.

Lastly, as part of Mojang’s monthly tradition, a new Lost Legend called The Crucible has been introduced. This challenge consists of nine chambers, each more difficult than the last. Players must clear all nine chambers and defeat the boss within a time limit of 30 minutes to emerge victorious. Before entering each chamber, players have the option to choose allies to aid them in battle. Success in The Crucible will reward players with the Crucible Champion Hero skin.
