Modi 3.0: Heavy Industries For Kumaraswamy, Panchayati Raj For Lalan Singh | Full List Of What BJP Allies Got

A day after Narendra Modi took oath for a third consecutive term as the Prime Minister of India in a grand ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the newly formed NDA government held its first Union Cabinet meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence. Alongside Modi, 72 ministers, including 11 from NDA allies, also took their oath of office.

Out of the 72 ministers in the Council of Ministers, leaders of the NDA allies were assigned 11 berths. Six of these allies were given cabinet seats, while five were given minister of state positions.

Allies such as former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy from the Janata Dal (Secular) will head the Ministry of Heavy Industries and the Ministry of Steel. The Telugu Desam Party’s Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu will be the new Civil Aviation Minister, a post previously held by BJP senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia. Additionally, Janata Dal (United) leader Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh has been appointed as the Minister of Panchayati Raj and the Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying.

  3. Chirag Paswan from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas): Minister of Food Processing Industries
  4. Jitan Ram Manjhi from Hindustani Awam Morcha: Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)
  5. Ram Nath Thakur from Janata Dal (United): Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
  6. Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh from Janata Dal (United): Minister of Panchayati Raj, and Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying
  7. Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani from Telugu Desam Party: Minister of State in the Ministry of Rural Development, and Minister of State in the Ministry of Communications
  8. Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav from Shiv Sena: Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Ayush; and Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
  9. Ram Das Athawale from Republican Party of India: Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment
  10. Jayant Chaudhary from Rashtriya Lok Dal: Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Minister of State in the Ministry of Education
  11. Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal (Soneylal): Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Minister of State in the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
