Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars: Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce a fleet of exciting new vehicles. By early 2024, automotive enthusiasts can expect the debut of the next-generation Swift hatchback and the revamped Dzire compact sedan.

These new models are poised to boast cutting-edge designs and enhanced features. Additionally, as part of Maruti Suzuki’s effort to work on electric mobility, a groundbreaking electric SUV based on the eXV concept is slated for a 2025 launch.

Furthermore, those awaiting an SUV with ample seating capacity can look forward to a seven-seater model derived from Grand Vitara, which is expected to hit the market in the near future.

New-generation Maruti Swift/Dzire

The forthcoming iterations of Maruti Swift and Dzire are set to undergo significant transformations in terms of design, features, and fuel efficiency. Both models are expected to be equipped with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which may also incorporate Toyota’s Strong Hybrid technology.

According to reports, these vehicles could make their debut in the Indian market in 2024, offering a mileage up to 35-40 km per litre.

Maruti eVX Electric SUV

Maruti Suzuki’s eVX concept-based electric SUV is poised to become the company’s inaugural electric vehicle in India. It can be introduced in 2025, possibly in January or February.

This electric SUV will be constructed on the innovative Born Electric platform, with dimensions estimated at 4300 mm in length, 1800 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height. The EV is anticipated to house a 60kWh battery pack, providing a range of 500 km on a single charge.
 
Maruti 7-Seater SUV

Reports suggest that Maruti Suzuki is currently in the process of developing a new three-row SUV, tentatively referred to as Y17.

This vehicle could be an SUV based on the Grand Vitara platform. It is speculated that the model will come equipped with a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine featuring mild hybrid technology, as well as Toyota’s 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol powertrain.
