Motorola is set to launch its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Moto G34 5G, in India on January 9th. Expected to be priced at Rs 10,999, the phone aims to offer the fastest 5G performance in its segment along with several other premium features.
The highlight of the Moto G34 5G will be the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, making it possibly the first phone under Rs 12,000 to be launched with this processor. The Snapdragon 695 5G is a well-balanced CPU known for its power efficiency and adeptness at handling day-to-day tasks.
In terms of design, the phone will sport a slim and sleek profile with a smooth matte finish rear panel in three colour options. The phone is 8mm thick and weighs 180g. The front is dominated by a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720) display with a high 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and visuals. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support promise an immersive multimedia experience.
The Moto G34 5G is equipped with a capable triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and 2MP macro. For selfies, it has a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone runs near-stock Android 14 out of the box.
Other key features include a large 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging, Moto Connect desktop mode, face unlock, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IP52 rating for water resistance.
Overall, with its fast Snapdragon 695 chip, smooth 120Hz display, solid camera specs, latest Android version and 5G support, the Moto G34 5G looks set to shake up the budget smartphone segment when it launches on January 9.
