Despite its release in 2015, The Witcher 3 remains a visually stunning open-world game. A new 8K resolution video, featuring the game with numerous mods, showcases its breathtaking graphics.
The video, created by Digital Dreams, exhibits the game with the Immersive Lighting Mod version 2.2, the Beyond all Limits ray tracing ReShade preset, and over 100 other mods. The Immersive Lighting Mod significantly enhances the game’s visuals, providing a more subdued lighting that enhances locations like Velen and Skellige. Additionally, it offers a completely different ambiance to the Duchy of Toussaint compared to the original lighting system.
Last year, The Witcher 3 made its debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S with a next-gen update, which introduced new features, quality-of-life improvements, and ray tracing support. Despite some initial issues with ray tracing performance, CD Projekt Red released several patches that resolved major problems while adding new features, such as Intel XeSS support on PC.
The Witcher 3 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch worldwide. To learn more about the next-gen update, read Alessio’s article.
