New Game Additions to Xbox Game Pass in February 2023: Experience Atomic Heart, Madden NFL 23, and Many More!

Xbox Game Pass is expanding its library with six exciting new titles in the first half of February. One of the highlights is Atomic Heart, which will be available on its release day. Enter a captivating steampunk-ish utopian world where humans and robots once coexisted peacefully. However, a technological glitch caused the robots to develop self-awareness and wage war against humanity. Equipped with a power glove and advanced weaponry, players embark on explosive encounters in search of the deeper truth. Atomic Heart will be released on February 20 for PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. Just in time for Super Bowl LVII, Xbox is also bringing Madden NFL 23 to Game Pass. This game will be available for free as part of the EA Play subscription, which is included in the Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

But Atomic Heart is not the only thrilling addition to Xbox Game Pass this month. Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition will slash its way into Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox One, and PC on February 16. Set in a mythical Asian land infested by demonic Yokai from Japanese folklore, players must reclaim an ancient dragon. Armed with a katana and an array of heavy firearms, you unleash destruction upon your enemies in a high-octane, Doom-like fashion. Additionally, on February 14, players can embark on an epic medieval adventure in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Build your own party of soldiers, complete quests, raid camps, and engage in intense battles against enemy forces. This game will be available on cloud, console, and PC.

Cities: Skylines is making its way to current-gen consoles with a ‘Remastered’ tag, taking full advantage of their power to display more tiles on screen, matching the standard PC version. This city-building simulator, arriving on February 15 for cloud and Xbox Series S/X, allows players to step into the role of a mayor, designing structures and streets while managing essential public services such as education, law enforcement, healthcare, and more. The game even features a day and night cycle, where traffic slows down realistically once the sun sets. For all the mecha enthusiasts out there, Xbox is also bringing SD Gundam Battle Alliance later this month. In this game, players acquire mobile suits and relive iconic moments from the Gundam series, which are under threat from a mysterious phenomenon.

In addition, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have early access to Wild Hearts, EA’s response to the Monster Hunter franchise. Gates to the fantastical landscape of Azuma will open three days earlier on February 13, providing limited access to the game. If players choose to purchase the game upon its release, all progress and save data will carry over, and EA Play members will receive a 10 percent discount.

Earlier this month, Xbox also added the gothic roguelike Darkest Dungeon and the motorsport title Grid: Legends to Game Pass.
