In June, @Tech_Reve showcased a live image of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 with a stylish case. One photo appeared to show no gap between the sides when the device was closed. Recently, SlashLeaks released images of Galaxy Z Flip 5 dummy units in black and white, revealing a gap when the foldable phone is shut.

A new waterdrop hinge is supposed to enable the phone to close completely flat, but the video on the SlashLeaks website clearly shows the gap when the device is closed. The larger 3.4-inch Cover Screen allows users to interact with various apps, including redesigned Google apps like Maps, Messages, and YouTube, without having to open the device.
When opened, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will reveal a 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset. The front of the phone features a 12MP primary Wide camera and a 12MP Wide-angle camera. The internal display includes a 10MP selfie snapper. Rumored colors for the device include Beige, Grey, Light Pink, and Light Green. Exclusive colors may feature Blue, Green, Platinum, and Yellow.
