One of the most sought-after cards from the latest Japanese Pokémon TCG expansion, Pokémon Card 151, is the sleeping Snorlax Illustration Rare.
Pokémon TCG Japan has unveiled details about the upcoming set Pokémon Card 151, which is based on the original 151 Pokémon from the Kanto region. This set is significant as it marks the return of Kadabra after 21 years of absence from the Pokémon TCG. Kadabra’s absence was due to a legal dispute with magician Uri Geller over the similarities between Kadabra’s design and Geller’s spoon-bending technique. However, the dispute was resolved three years ago when Geller withdrew his complaint and apologized to Pokémon fans. Another notable feature of this expansion is that the cards will be ordered according to the Pokédex, unlike the usual ordering by type. The set was released in Japan on June 16th and will serve as the first special set of the Scarlet & Violet era for English-language collectors, titled Scarlet & Violet – 151.
