The makers of the highly anticipated movie starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi have announced a change in the release date. The film will now hit the big screens on December 15, eight days earlier than its initial release date of December 23. Tips Films, the official production company, shared this news on their social media platforms. Renowned director Sriram Raghavan, known for his blockbusters like Badlapur and Andhadhun, has helmed the project.

In their post, the makers expressed their excitement in giving audiences an early ”Christmas cheer.” They announced that ”#MerryChristmas” will now release in theaters near you on December 15, 2023.
The post also features a new poster of the film, showcasing the lead cast alongside a famous Yellow-Black taxi car commonly seen in Mumbai. The poster also includes night shots of popular locations in Mumbai such as Regal Cinema and Jupiter Bakery.
The new poster highlights a catchy phrase, ”Raat Jitni Sangeen Hogi, Subah Utni Rangeen Hogi” (Morning will be as colorful as the night is felonious).
Alongside Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, Merry Christmas also features Sanjay Kapoor, Radhika Apte, Tinnu Anand, Aditi Govitrikar, and Vinay Pathak in important roles.
