Handcrafted by the master artisans of Swadesh, the Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensemble took over 40 days to make.
Timeless just like her, the serene special outfit beautifully captured Nita Ambani’s regal aura. In a series of breathtaking images posted by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, the couturiers expressed that the outfit reflects Nita Ambani’s vision of celebrating the incredible talent of Indian artisans, while sharing the cultural legacy of our country with the world.
Taking India and its craft and making it a global style statement, Nita Ambani’s peach silk ghagra combines hues of vintage bronze, blushing pink and pistachio green. She paired the ethereal ghagra with a jaali blouse crafted in naqshi and saadi gold along with silver zardozi work. Fabulously finished with a dazzling sprinkle of Swarovski crystals, the outfit emanates a regal aura.
Known for closely working with artisans across the country through her venture Swadesh, the special ensemble was handcrafted by the master artisans Vijay Kumar and Monika Maurya of Swadesh for over 40 days.
Draped by renowned drape artist Dolly Jain, Nita Ambani paired the rich textured ensemble with a traditional ‘Ranghaat’ dupatta in exuberant pastel shades. Hairstylist Amit Thakur styled her hair in a simple yet chic bun adorned with fresh flowers, and the finesse was complemented with the minimal and flawless makeup done by Tanvi Chemburkar.
