OnePlus is set to launch the highly-anticipated Nord 3 5G phone in India on July 5. This launch event will also feature the unveiling of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and the Nord Buds 2R earbuds. To build up excitement, OnePlus has shared some key features of the Nord 3 5G.
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G will boast a 6.74-inch display with a possible refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be available in two stunning color options – Tempest Gray and Misty Green – and will also include an alert slider.
The upcoming OnePlus Nord phone has been confirmed to offer 256GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 in-built storage. The phone will feature a vibrant AMOLED panel for its display.
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G is rumored to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V. This previous handset, launched earlier this year, is equipped with a powerful 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core processor. It also boasts a large 5,000mAh battery and supports blazing-fast 80watt SuperVOOC fast charging.
OnePlus has also announced that the Nord 3 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC in India. This upcoming smartphone is expected to offer a maximum of 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and may run on the latest Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 out-of-the-box.
When it comes to photography, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will sport a versatile triple camera setup on the rear. This camera system will feature a powerful Sony IMX890 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, along with an 8MP sensor and a 2MP sensor. For stunning selfies and video calls, the phone is rumored to have a 16MP front-facing camera.
Recently, the potential pricing details of the upcoming phone were leaked. According to tipster Abhishek, the OnePlus Nord 3 will be available in two variants in India. One variant will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and is rumored to be priced at ₹32,999. The other variant is expected to have 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with a possible price tag of ₹36,999.
Another well-known tipster, Ishan Agarwal, suggests that the starting price of the OnePlus Nord 3 will be €449 (approximately ₹40,200) for the 8GB+128GB model. The higher-end model, expected to have 12GB+256GB storage, may be priced at €549 (approximately ₹49,200).
