Actress Parineeti Chopra and her politician fiancé Raghav Chadha recently visited Amritsar to seek blessings at the Golden Temple in preparation for their upcoming wedding. This visit follows their engagement in New Delhi a few weeks ago.
The couple was seen inside the Golden Temple, surrounded by tight security. Parineeti wore an elegant off-white salwar-kameez with a dupatta draped around her head, while Raghav opted for a white kurta-pajama paired with a grey jacket. They were last spotted together in Udaipur, where they were reportedly searching for a wedding venue.
For those who are unaware, Parineeti and Raghav got engaged on May 13 in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas and fashion designer Manish Malhotra. The couple later shared official photos from the engagement on their social media accounts.
Announcing the engagement on social media, Parineeti wrote, “Everything I prayed for… I said yes!”
Later, the couple expressed their gratitude for the love and blessings they received. They stated, “Raghav and I are overwhelmed with the love and positivity we have received, especially during our engagement. We come from different worlds, but it’s incredible to see how our worlds unite with our union. We have gained a bigger family than we could have ever imagined.
Parineeti added, “We are deeply touched by everything we have read or seen, and we cannot thank you all enough. We embark on this journey knowing that you are all standing with us. A special shout-out to our amazing friends in the media. Thank you for being there throughout the day and cheering for us.”
According to reports, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha will tie the knot between September and November this year in Rajasthan. Recently, the actress visited Udaipur with her family and met with the Deputy Director of the Tourism Department to inquire about tourist places and hotels.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti, who was last seen in the film “Uunchai” alongside Amitabh Bachchan, will be starring in the upcoming film “Amar Singh Chamkila” alongside Diljit Dosanjh.
