A fresh and exciting teaser for the song “What Jhumka” from the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, will be released on Wednesday.
The film’s makers took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a glimpse of the song. In their teaser, they playfully wrote, “You’ve heard of beat drop, mic drop, jaw drop moments but now it’s time for the jhumka drop moment! #WhatJhumka, Song out tomorrow!”
In the teaser for the song, Ranveer is seen wearing a stylish denim jacket while trying to win over the gorgeous Alia, who shines in a stunning multi-colored chiffon saree paired with a bralette blouse, bindi, and silver jhumkas.
The song hints at being a lively dance number and pays homage to the iconic “Mera Saaya” song “Jhoomka Gira Re” sung by Asha Bhosle.
The first song titled “Tum Kya Mile” has already captivated the audience. It showcases a romantic sequence between Ranveer and Alia set against the beautiful backdrop of Kashmir.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also marks Karan Johar’s 25th anniversary in the film industry. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi and is set to release in cinemas on July 28.
