Priyanka Chopra Jonas Supports SAG-AFTRA Strike
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, currently working on her Hollywood film Heads of State alongside Idris Alba and John Cena, has paused the project to give her support to the ongoing SAG AFTRA strike.
The Screen Actors Guild, representing approximately 160,000 performers, declared a strike after failing to reach a new labor agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers.
Showing her support, Priyanka posted on Instagram, “I stand with my union and colleagues. In solidarity, we build a better tomorrow. #SagAftraStrong #SagAftraStrike.” She also shared an image with the text “SAG AFTRA STRONG”.
By publicly expressing her support, Priyanka Chopra Jonas confirms her participation in the movement and pledges not to film any future projects anywhere in the world until the strike concludes.
On the work front, Priyanka will reprise her role as Nadia Sinh in Citadel season 2, set to release next year. In Bollywood, she was supposed to be part of Jee Le Zaara but has exited the project due to multiple delays.
