Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of the former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, recently disclosed that her husband is willing to explore acting opportunities. Known as ‘Thala’ by the South Indian audience, Mahi and Sakshi have recently announced their debut production venture ‘LGM’ (Let’s Get Married) featuring Harish Kalyan and Ivana. Sakshi made these comments during a press conference in Chennai where she discussed Dhoni’s potential acting debut.
According to Sakshi, her husband has never been camera-shy. When asked about the possibility of Dhoni playing the lead role in a film, she responded, “If there is a good opportunity, he might just take it. He is not afraid of the camera. He has been appearing in advertisements since 2006. So, if there is something good, he might do it.”
Dhoni’s Potential Action Film
Sakshi also mentioned that action films would be the most suitable genre for Dhoni. She stated, “Action. He is always in action. What else would you choose for him? If we decide to make a movie with MS Dhoni as the hero, it will definitely be an action-packed entertainer. However, if a character with a compelling story and a good message comes along, MS Dhoni would consider acting.”

About Let’s Get Married
Dhoni Entertainment’s Let’s Get Married stars Harish Kalyan and Ivana. Directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, the film also features Nadiya, Yogi Babu, and RJ Vijay. The poster of the film depicts Harish holding an engagement ring box with Nadiya and Ivana tied to him with a ring. In the caption, the actor expressed his excitement as MS Dhoni himself released the first look of #LGM. It’s a dream come true for a die-hard fan like him.
