In a clever marketing move, Marvel Entertainment has sent individuals dressed as green Skrulls to casually walk into the frame during news segments, adding an element of surprise and humor.
A thread on the r/marvelstudios subreddit has compiled several instances of these appearances. For example, during a Good Morning Texas interview at Jimmy’s Food Store in Dallas, a Skrull dressed in a suit casually walked by, creating a memorable moment.
Similar sightings have been reported in Los Angeles and Chicago. One Redditor even managed to take a wedding picture with a Skrull at Chicago’s Cloud Gate “bean” sculpture.
In Secret Invasion, Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role as Nick Fury. The series also features Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clarke, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir, with Ali Selim directing the six-episode miniseries.
The premiere episode of Secret Invasion airs tomorrow on Disney+. Subsequent episodes will be released every Wednesday until the finale on July 26th.
