Sharon Stone Accuses Former Sony Executive Of Sexual Harassment

While celebrities remain guarded and abide by talking points in the media, Hollywood veteran Sharon Stone isn’t one of them. She doesn’t hedge or avoid discussing personal topics and now she has boldly spoken about enduring an alleged sexual harassment during the initial stage of her acting career. At her appearance on SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Rippa, the 65-year-old recalled getting mistreated by a former Sony Executive. According to the events shared by Sharon, the alleged encounter happened during a meeting in the 1980s at one of the studio offices. The Basic Instinct diva recalled sitting on a low couch, donning a Ralph Lauren Jacket and denim skirt with cowboy boots.

Sharon Stone admitted she was excited to meet the Sony executive unbeknownst of what was about to unfold later. “I’m so tall, so I look like all legs are sitting there akimbo on the couch, and he is pacing around the office,” she described herself on the low giant couch. The executive reportedly continued heaping praises on the Casino actress before coming right up in front of her. “He said, ‘But first’ and he took his penis right out in my face,” Sharon explained.

Taken aback by the situation, the actress remembers growing nervous and laughing hysterically. “I started laughing and crying at the same time and I couldn’t stop because I became hysterical,” she continued. Her reaction did get the executive to walk out the door but the actress reportedly didn’t know what to do or react at the time. She claims to remain silent for a brief period still inside the office until a secretary escorted her out. “You’ve gotta realize that this is like 1980 that this happened to me and now we’re in 2023, which is 43 years later,” she remarked. It is important to note the actress did not name the former executive during the interaction.

Sharon Stone made her Hollywood debut essaying a small role in Woody Allen’s Stardust Memories before she went on to deliver her breakthrough performances in Basic Instinct and Total Recall. Her feature as a trophy wife in Martin Scorsese’s 1995 epic crime drama Casino also earned her an Oscar nomination.

Now at 65, she remains a muse for fashion designers setting her sartorial statement right be it approaching the Cannes or Met Gala carpet.
