Shikhar Dhawan thanks Delhi Fire Service for rescuing trapped stray dog

In a heartening display of compassion and dedication, the Delhi Fire Service came to the rescue of a distressed stray dog trapped inside a drain in the Green Park area of Delhi. The canine, having fallen into the sewer through a damaged manhole, found itself stranded for three days before its cries for help reached attentive ears. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan applauded the team and thanked them for their services.

The rescue operation was shared by Simanta V. Mahanta on Instagram. It features the officials of the Delhi Fire Service diligently working to free the trapped dog. The clip depicts the skilled fire personnel drilling into the road, carefully clearing stones to create an opening to reach the distressed animal.

As the rescue unfolds, the dog’s whimpers guide the officials with the rescue. With precision and care, the fire service team ensures that the hole is large enough for a rescuer to enter, eventually pulling the stranded dog to safety.
