The lottery game is organized by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association at Shillong’s Polo Stadium from Monday to Saturday between 4 PM and 5 PM.
The lottery game consists of two rounds, each lasting two minutes. In the initial round, 50 skilled archers unleash 30 arrows each, followed by a second round featuring 20 arrows. Participants have the opportunity to engage in betting by predicting the number of arrows hitting the target in each of the rounds.
Tickets for the Shillong Teer lottery can be purchased at authorized state lottery shops from Rs 1 to Rs 100. The results for the first round are disclosed around 4:15 PM, followed by the second-round results at 5:15 PM.
Apart from Shillong Teer, Meghalaya hosts other Teer lotteries, namely Khanapara Teer, Jowai Teer, and Ladrymbai Teer, each conducted at different locations. HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY
1. Purchase a ticket from an authorized retailer, available in different denominations such as Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, or Rs 50.
2. Choose a number between 0 and 99 that represents your best guess for the number of arrows hitting the target in each round.
3. Place your bet on either the first, second, or both rounds. You win if your predictions for the selected round(s) are correct.
4. The prize money is determined by both the betting amount you choose and the precision of your predicted arrow counts.
5. For example: If you bet Rs 1 and correctly predict the first round, you win Rs 80. Similarly, successfully predicting the second round with a Rs 1 bet earns you Rs 60, and if you bet Rs 1 on both rounds and accurately predict the outcomes, your winnings will amount to Rs 4000.
