Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel at San Diego Comic-Con announced the next major event for Spider-Man comic books, Gang War. This event appears to have similarities to Batman and Catwoman’s upcoming Gotham War. Gang War will feature Spider-Man teaming up with other New York heroes to save the city and introduce new titles such as Luke Cage, Spider-Woman, Deadly Hands Of Kung Fu, and an Elektra-starring Daredevil. John Romita will be drawing the crossover issues for Amazing Spider-Man, and Miles Morales will also join the war. Here is the checklist of Gang War titles: Gang War First Strike #1 by Zeb Wells and Joey Vasquez in November, Spider-Woman #1 by Steve Foxe and Carola Borelli in November, Luke Cage #1 by Rodney Barnes and Ramon F Bachs in November, Deadly Hands Of Kung Fu by Greg Pak in December, and Daredevil Gang War #1 by Erica Schultz and Sergio Davila in December.
The Gang War event will also have an impact on Amazing Spider-Man, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, and introduce the return of Rek-Rap in November.
