Young TV actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan has consistently expressed her father’s unwavering love for her and her sisters. After Sumbul’s father went through a divorce, Touqeer Khan single-handedly raised his two daughters. Although hesitant, he finally decided to remarry after his children persuaded him for his own happiness. Sumbul took to Instagram to share glimpses from her father’s wedding ceremony and requested blessings from fans.
In the photos, Sumbul and her sister Saniya can be seen enjoying the pre-wedding festivities, with mehendi beautifully adorning their palms. On the wedding day, the sisters wore sarees and stood strong beside their father. In another photo, they were captured praying before the nikah ceremony. Sumbul captioned the photos, “Say MashaAllah”.

While she was loved for her innocence and fun personality, her closeness with the much older Shalin Bhanot raised questions. Even host Salman Khan warned her not to be obsessed with him, leading to her father breaking down and regretting his decision to send her on the show.
For those unaware, Sumbul began her acting career with the show Jodha Akbar in 2013 and was also seen in Chandragupta Maurya in 2018.
