Tecno Pova Smartphone to Showcase RGB LED Lighting on Rear Panel Inspired by Nothing Phone 2

Tecno is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the near future, according to a leaked live video shared by a trusted source. The video showcases a Tecno Pova smartphone with an RGB LED light strip on the back panel that lights up when there’s an incoming call. This unique feature seems to have been inspired by the Glyph Interface found on the Nothing Phone 2 and its predecessor, the Phone 1. Tecno recently introduced the Tecno Pova 5, which features a powerful 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, a massive 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and 10W reverse charging support.

The aforementioned video was shared on Twitter by tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24). It showcases the Tecno Pova smartphone with the LED light strip next to the camera module on the top left corner of the back panel. Similar to the Glyph Interface of the Nothing Phone, Tecno’s handset is expected to feature its own software called the Arc Interface. However, unlike the Nothing Phone, the Arc Interface appears to have RGB lighting instead of a single LED color.

The Arc Interface is expected to utilize the LED light strip for various notifications and events on the smartphone. In the video, the tipster mentions that the light strip functions when there’s an incoming call. Currently, there is limited information available about the Arc Interface, including its customization options and other features. More details about the rumored device and the Arc Interface are anticipated to be revealed by the company at a later date.

A report by 91Mobiles speculates that the showcased model could be the Tecno Pova 5 Pro. If this assumption holds true, we can expect the device to come with a massive 7,000mAh battery and support for 68W wired fast charging. However, it’s essential to approach this information with caution as no specific source is mentioned in the report.

The Tecno Pova 5 is currently available in Amber Gold, Hurricane Blue, and Mecha Black color options and boasts a design inspired by robot mechas. It has already been launched in select markets across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
