Tesla Finally Unveils Long-Awaited Cybertruck After Two-Year Setback: Complete Insight

Tesla, the prominent US automaker, made an exciting announcement on Saturday. The first-ever electric pickup truck, known as the Cybertruck, has successfully rolled off the assembly line at the massive plant near Austin, Texas. The company took to Twitter to share the news, accompanied by a captivating photo of the futuristic silver vehicle surrounded by their dedicated Tesla workers donning helmets and yellow vests.

The tweet caught the attention of Elon Musk, the owner of both Tesla and Twitter. He enthusiastically reposted the tweet, congratulating the Tesla team on this significant milestone.

In regards to a request for comment on Saturday, Tesla has yet to respond.

Back in April, Tesla promised that the first Cybertrucks would be ready before the year’s end. The initial announcement of the unique vehicle’s design, featuring a sleek silver appearance with unconventional angles reminiscent of a tortoise, took place in November 2019.

During the vehicle’s original introduction, there was a mishap when Musk urged a Tesla employee to strike one of the prototype’s windows with a steel hunk to demonstrate its strength. Unfortunately, the window shattered, much to Musk’s amusement and his use of an expletive. The same fate befell a second window when they made another attempt.

Despite these setbacks, Tesla managed to secure nearly 150,000 advance orders within just two days.

Musk’s vision for the Cybertruck’s production is ambitious. In May, he stated that the company hopes to manufacture 250,000 trucks annually, with the possibility of that number doubling in the future due to the vehicle’s relatively affordable price.

Tesla plans to offer three models of the Cybertruck, all of which boast impressive acceleration capabilities, reaching zero to 60 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in under three seconds. The basic model, priced at $39,900 (approximately Rs. 32,03,700), offers a 250-mile range between charges. The top-of-the-line truck, priced at $69,900 (approximately Rs. 57,41,900), has a double range compared to the basic model.
