I assumed that she lacked the mental training to resist like the others. However, it’s possible that her Inhuman lineage interfered with Xavier’s call to the mutants. Alternatively, someone may have informed her, as she can be seen in the middle left of a panel with a red triangle on her head. Although she doesn’t seem to have participated in the subsequent fight, she is standing on the side of the group that managed to escape, hidden in the shadows.
She also demonstrates her extensive knowledge of superheroes by correctly identifying the Blob. It would have been quite absurd to reintroduce Ms. Marvel only to kill her off immediately. However, this is not the case for artist Declan Shalvey, who suffers a much more fatal fate.
