State-run defence equipment manufacturer Bharat Dynamics Ltd. on Thursday declared an interim dividend of ₹8.85 per equity share for the financial year 2023-24.
“We wish to inform that, the Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held today, 21 March 2024 has declared an interim dividend of ₹8.85 per equity share of ₹10 each fully paid-up for the financial year 2023-24. The company has fixed 02 April 2024 as ‘Record Date’ for the purpose of payment of interim dividend on equity shares for the financial year 2023-24 and the payment of interim dividend will be completed on and before 18 April 2024,” it said.
Besides, the company has also announced a stock split in the proportion of 1:2. This means that one equity share with a face value of ₹10 will be split into two equity shares with a face value of ₹5.
The state-run company has also appointed G Gayatri Prasad as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from January 31, 2024. Currently, Prasad is the General Manager (Finance) of the company.
Shares of settled 2.50% higher at ₹1,660 apiece on the NSE. The stock is down nearly 4% so far this year.
