Designers Falguni Shane Peacock commemorated their two-decade journey with a dazzling grand finale at Hyundai India Couture Week 2024, presenting their latest masterpiece, “Rang Mahal.”
The event was graced by the presence of Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, who captivated the audience with their stunning appearances. Rashmika opened the show in a shimmering white lehenga adorned with sequins and pearls, while Vicky complemented her perfectly in an ivory and gold bandhgala.
The ‘Rang Mahal’ collection, crafted in collaboration with Swadesh, pays homage to India’s rich textile heritage and artisanal prowess. The showcase beautifully blended Tanishq’s exquisite jewelry with Falguni Shane Peacock’s contemporary designs, creating a harmonious fusion of modern aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship. This collaboration highlighted the extraordinary talent and skill of Indian artisans and weavers, bringing their art to the forefront.
Falguni Shane Peacock X Swadesh
In their first foray into Indian weaves and textiles, Falguni Shane Peacock partnered with Swadesh to create a unique capsule collection featuring exquisite sarees and lehengas. The collection includes luxurious Kanjivaram silks, woven with real gold and silver zari threads, and adorned with the distinctive FSP monogram on the saree and dupatta borders. This collection also showcases Banarasi brocade lehengas and Chikankari, seamlessly integrated with Falguni Shane Peacock’s signature touches. Each piece in this collection is a testament to the unparalleled skill of indigenous weavers, making it a truly one-of-a-kind display of craftsmanship.
The grand finale also featured Tanishq’s ‘Best of Diamonds’ and the newly launched ‘Enchanted Trails’ collection, a breathtaking array of rare and real diamond creations that redefine glamour and elegance. Inspired by the intricate beauty of nature, the collection incorporates elements reflecting flowing rivers, the interplay of light and water, blooming flowers, graceful branches, and lush forest foliage. Additionally, Tanishq dazzled the audience with the ‘Ethereal Wonders’ collection, showcasing rare stones such as aquamarine, tanzanite, pastel tourmalines, rare citrines, and statement pieces featuring emeralds and sapphires. This collection, one of Tanishq’s rarest, highlighted the brand’s dedication to exceptional craftsmanship.
Tanishq’s ‘Exotic India’ collection celebrated the grandeur of Indian heritage with intricate Vilandi Jadau designs crafted in Bikaner, Victorian Polki necklaces adorned with uncut Polkis, and regal Rajwada Kundan necklaces. Each piece told a story of opulence, merging traditional artistry with modern elegance. The collection also featured timeless Chikankari work, mesmerizing Picchwai work, opulent Zardosi, and dazzling Polkis, all meticulously handcrafted. The vibrant Meenakari art and captivating inlay work, featuring Chalcedony centerpieces, added a splash of color, empowering the modern woman with timeless elegance and contemporary charm.
