Vivo, a Chinese smartphone maker, has launched the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in its homeland. These smartphones come as the successors to the Vivo X90 series smartphones. It runs on Origin OS 4 based on Android 14. The X100 has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging. As for the optics, the smartphone gets a 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide and 64MP telephoto rear lens. Vivo X100 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED curved screen with 120Hz screen and a peak brightness of up to 3,000nits. At the core, the device gets a 4nm Dimensity 9300 CPU and Immortalis G720 GPU. It runs on Origin OS 4 based on Android 14. It has a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As for the optics, the device has a 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP telephoto rear lenses and 32MP front camera. For connectivity, the IP68-rated devices offer Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB Type-C port. Both phones ship with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
Vivo X100, X100 Pro Price
Vivo X100 has a starting price of 3,999 yuan (around Rs 46,000) for the 12GB + 256GB. The X100 Pro starts from 4,999 yuan (approx Rs 58,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB model. These handsets will go on sale in China on November 21. At the time of filing, the company has not shared any details of an India debut. Reports tip that the company may introduce smartphones in India next year.
