Global launch for Vivo’s X100 and X100 Pro is set for December 14 as revealed by Vivo through its website, following their initial exclusive availability in China last month. The anticipation builds as Vivo prepares to unveil these smartphones globally, with the launch event scheduled for next Thursday at 7 PM (time zone unspecified). Notably, both devices have been open for pre-orders since November 24.
Both the X100 and X100 Pro boast the powerful Dimensity 9300 SoC, with the major differences being in the camera and battery specifications. The X100 boasts a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging, while the X100 Pro elevates the experience with a slightly larger 5,400 mAh cell, coupled with 100W wired charging and an additional 50W wireless charging capability.
Turning our attention to the camera setups, The X100 houses a 50MP 1/1.49″ primary camera and a 64MP 70mm periscope telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom. In contrast, the X100 Pro features a 50MP 1/0.98″ primary camera paired with a 50MP 100mm periscope telephoto unit, offering 4.3x optical zoom. However, both models share a common 50MP ultra-wide unit in their triple camera arrangement.
