Vivo is gearing up to launch a new smartphone on March 21. The Vivo T3 5G will finally be making its debut and ahead of the launch, several details about the smartphone have been confirmed by the brand. Until now, it was being speculated that the Vivo T3 5G will run on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. Now, a couple of days before the launch, the brand has confirmed that this rumour is true. The phone will indeed be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor.
Vivo’s recent social media post reads, “Lag is a thing of the past for the new #vivoT3 5G. Experience next-level speed and multitasking with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor and #GetSetTurbo.”
However, the chipset isn’t the only detail that has been confirmed.
The smartphone has already been confirmed as a Flipkart exclusive and is expected to join the array of recent mid-range launches this month, including the Nothing Phone 2a, Realme 12, Realme 12+ 5G, and iQOO Z9 5G, among others.
Coming to the phone’s design, going from the images shared by Vivo, we can confirm that the phone will come with a triple rear camera setup. One colour of the phone has been confirmed – Crystal Flake.
With the launch just a couple of days away, several leaks about the phone have emerged.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Vivo T3 is expected to boast a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo T3 is also likely to offer LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
In terms of camera capabilities, the smartphone is already confirmed to feature a triple-camera setup. Previous reports have said that the phone might have a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a bokeh lens. While we aren’t sure about the third lens, it is likely to be a wide -angle lens. Additionally, a 16MP front-facing camera is expected to cater to selfie and video calling needs.
Coming to the battery, a 5,000mAh battery, possibly accompanied by a 44W fast charger, is anticipated to power the Vivo T3. For connectivity, the device may support 8 5G bands, Bluetooth version 5.3, WiFi 6, and a dual stereo speaker setup. Other features could include an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP54 rating for splash and dust resistance.
As for the pricing, Vivo’s upcoming smartphone is rumored to be priced under Rs 20,000 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant. However, it’s important to note that these prices are speculative, and the exact specifications and pricing details will be revealed at the official launch event on March 21.
