Vivo T3 will launch in India on March 21: India price, chipset, design and everything we already know

Vivo is set to launch a new smartphone, Vivo T3, in India this week. This launch follows the debut of the company’s flagship phones, Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro at the beginning of this year, and then the launch of the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro this month. While the Vivo X-series is the company’s premium lineup, and the Vivo V series sits in the mid-range, the Vivo T-series is among the more affordable offerings from the company. The Vivo T3 will be unveiled in India on March 21, with its launch event kicking off at 12 pm on the day. The Vivo T3 launch will be held virtually, and the unveiling can be followed on the Vivo India official website and Flipkart.

Leading up to its launch event, details about the chipset powering the Vivo T3 smartphone have been revealed. The device is confirmed to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC.

Aside from the chipset information, several other features of the Vivo T3 have been confirmed through teasers released by the company. Notably, the phone will be available in a Crystal Flake color variant, blending white and green tones with crystal-cut patterns on the back.

Furthermore, the teasers have unveiled that the Vivo T3 will sport a triple rear camera setup and incorporate turbo charge technology for fast charging support. However, specific charging speed details have not been disclosed in the teasers. Comparatively, the previous model, Vivo T2, featured 44W fast charging, indicating a similar mechanism for the Vivo T3.

Additionally, the Vivo T3 listing on Flipkart also confirms that the Vivo T3 will sport Sony IMX 882 OIS sensor, which will be the primary 50-megapixel sensor. It also reveals that the phone’s camera will support 4K video recordings with OIS. The phone will also come with a dedicated flicker sensor to eliminate any flicker caused in video footage due to artificial lighting.

The Vivo T3 is expected to succeed the Vivo T2, which launched last year at a starting price of Rs 15,999, suggesting a similar pricing range for the Vivo T3.

Regarding specifications, the Vivo T3 will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The device will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness.

In terms of photography, the Vivo T3 will offer a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. Details about the third camera are yet to be confirmed but are speculated to be a wide-angle lens. The front camera is expected to be a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

Powering the device will be a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 44W fast charging for efficient recharging.

Competing in its segment, the Vivo T3 will vie against competitors like the Poco X6 Neo and Samsung Galaxy M34 5G.
