On Saturday, Actor Ankita Lokhande bid farewell to her father, Shashikant Lokhande, who passed away in Mumbai at the age of 68. The last rites were held at Mumbai’s Oshiwara Crematorium on Sunday. Ankita, along with her husband Vicky Jain, carried her father’s mortal remains on her shoulder. The funeral was attended by family members and friends from the TV and film industry, including Shraddha Arya, Aarti Singh, Aparna Dixit, and Kushal Tandon, who paid their final respects.

During the funeral, Ankita broke down and received support from Vicky and her mother. The cause of her father’s death is still unknown. Both Ankita and Vicky have yet to comment on the matter.
