After completing its preparations, ISRO is set to launch Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission. If successful, India will join the United States, the former Soviet Union, and China as the fourth country to achieve a controlled lunar landing.
The rocket is scheduled to take off from the Sriharikota space centre in Andhra Pradesh at 2:35 pm. However, there have been allegations on social media that the budget for Chandrayaan-3 is lower than the budget of the recently released film Adipurush.
According to a leading news agency, the budget for Chandrayaan-3 is slightly less than $75 million (approximately â¹615 crore). However, some Twitter users claim that the makers of Adipurush spent a massive â¹700 crore on the movie.
