Xbox took the covers off MachineGame’s upcoming Indiana Jones game at its Developer Direct 2024 showcase. It presented a 45-minute-long presentation live on its YouTube channel and social media accounts to reveal new titles and share updates on some upcoming releases. At the showcase, Xbox also provided a release date for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and revealed release windows for Obsidian’s fantasy RPG Avowed, Oxide Games’ Ara: History Untold, and Square Enix’s Visions of Mana.
Notably, there were no surprise reveals like last year’s Hi-Fi Rush which was announced at Xbox Developer Direct 2023 and was released on the same day. All the games showcased at Xbox Developer Direct 2024, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released in 2024. In addition to release windows, the titles showcased at the presentation got extended gameplay trailers and deep dives from developers.
Also, these games have been confirmed to arrive on Xbox Series X/S, PC, Game Pass, and/or cloud. Xbox also confirmed day-one availability of these titles on Game Pass at launch.
