Xiaomi 14 tipped to go on sale in India on March 11, check specifications and expected price

The Xiaomi 14 will arrive in India on March 7. The device recently made its global debut. Although, only the Pro and standard models were launched in the global markets, and the Ultra version is limited to China. It is currently unknown whether both Pro and standard will make it to India or just the Xiaomi 14. Ahead of the launch, tipster Abhishek Yadav is claiming on X (previously Twitter) that the Xiaomi 14 series will go on sale in India on March 11.

The Xiaomi 14 is expected to start at around Rs 50,000, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro may command a price tag of approximately Rs 80,000. But, these are not the official prices and just an expectation based on the global markets and previous leaks. Here is a look at the specifications, regardless of whichever model arrives in India.

Xiaomi 14 series specifications

In the global markets, the Xiaomi 14 series comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is backed by a UFS 4.0 storage solution and up to 16GB of RAM. Out of the box, they run on the Android 14 OS.

The Xiaomi 14 has a 6.36-inch screen and the Pro version features a slightly larger 6.73-inch display. Both models share a sleek design and sport a 120Hz AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 3,000nits. While not topping the industry charts, the panel is expected to provide a good viewing experience. These devices also come with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

With a 50-megapixel primary camera housing a ‘Light Hunter 900’ sensor with a customized Leica Summilux lens. However, the Xiaomi 14 offers a fixed aperture, while the Pro version boasts a variable aperture. Additionally, users can expect a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The vanilla Xiaomi 14 features a 4,610mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, whereas the Pro version steps up with a slightly larger 4,880mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. Furthermore, both models support 50W wireless charging along with 10W reverse wireless charging.
