As the much-awaited WTC 2023 Final draws closer, all eyes will be on two key players, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, to lead Team India to victory and secure the next ICC trophy. Team India fans have high hopes for Virat Kohli, who has a reputation for leading India to incredible victories. In a recent interview with ICC, Kohli opened up about his struggles over the past two years and how he managed to rise above them. He also expressed his admiration for former captain MS Dhoni.

“I’m in a very happy phase of my life. The past couple of years have been quite challenging, both on and off the field. As with any long career, there are bound to be complications that arise over time. But I feel like I’m back to playing my best cricket across all formats. I’m thoroughly enjoying being out there with the bat in my hand and doing whatever it takes for the team,” said Virat Kohli.

Proud to Represent Team India

Kohli shared his deep love for the game and his pride in representing Team India under different captains, including MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. He expressed his excitement at being able to fully enjoy the game again without any added pressure.

Virat Kohli has established himself as a savior in challenging situations. Cricket enthusiasts still remember his remarkable innings, such as the 141-run knock against Australia in Adelaide in 2014, the century against New Zealand in Wellington in the same year, and his century against Sri Lanka in Kolkata in 2017.
