Shilpa Shetty recently showcased her signature style by donning a pre-draped saree from the indigenous brand 431-88 by Shweta Kapur. Shetty exuded elegance in the Kaai Saree, a stunning beige attire with a price tag of Rs 27,000. This luxurious garment stands out for its innovative design, featuring a side slit for added grace and a sleeveless bodysuit to accentuate Shetty’s impeccable figure and overall appearance.
Shilpa Shetty’s stunning ensemble was complemented by jewellery from Shachee Fine Jewellery, including a rose pendant embellished with Zambian emeralds and coordinating earrings. To enhance her look, she carried a vintage bag from Viange Vintage. The smoky eyes and red lipstick completed the actress’ appearance. The ensemble by Kapur, curated with attention to detail, perfectly blends traditional attire with modernity, allowing individuals to involve both styles effortlessly.
In a conversation with Vogue India, the designer Shweta Kapur explained, “From our collection ‘20’, this silhouette is exactly how you’d drape a sari. Every time we make pre-draped saris the idea is that it should look like a sari. I don’t like pieces that land up looking like gowns. When we started working on this piece, as seen on Shilpa Shetty, we wanted to emphasize the waist because I feel that’s the most beautiful part of a woman’s body. So the gathers are placed at the waist. We put the pleats on the side instead of the front and extended the pallu for a little bit of drama. It’s crafted using satin.”
In addition to her latest attire from 431-88, the ‘Nikamma’ actress recently delighted her fans with two other striking looks. First, she wore a black sari by Ritika Mirchandani for Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s sangeet in Goa, showcasing her elegant style. Following that, she attended the couple’s wedding in a gold saree, radiating glamour.
