Unlike the conventional forms of yoga on the mat, Malaika Arora recently showed us how wall yoga is a step up from the usual. She put on a black athleisure for her morning exercise and kickstarted with an extended triangle pose. It was executed by stretching one leg placing the foot on the wall and raising her arm. The particular asana improves posture, and balance, and strengthens the core muscles. The extended triangle pose was followed by conventional exercises like planks and variations of other asanas like Marjari asana and Salabhasana that improve core strength and balance. 

Malaika Arora once said, “Never underestimate a woman with a yoga mat” and she meant every word of it with her yoga session. She began with an arm exercise by putting her hand behind her head and stretching them at occasional intervals. Leg stretches and side bends were next in line with side bends and waist twists that target the stomach region. Quite meticulously, Malaika did the workout with one extended hand at first, and then with both. The fitness guru sweat it our phase did not conclude here. She continued to work on her muscle strength by performing push-ups, lunges, side planks, and arm rotations with weights. Her main focus was on stretching as they are proven to improve flexibility and blood flow. They are also a fantastic method to enhance mobility and posture.
